Princi, Soho.

We can't get enough of Soho. It's streets are lined with bars, take-aways shops, bakeries, brasseries and Princi hit's the list. All the breads, cakes, pizzas and hot dishes stand out from the ever growing crowd. Princi is essentially a dolled-up cafeteria, choose what you want from the display cases, pay at the till and try find a table if you can.

I had the filled foccacia with buffalo mozzarella, tomato and rocket (with my own dash of Tabasco, of course) with a side salad of pesto pasta and chicken caesar (minus the capers).

G had the french beans, chicken caesar, roasted aubergines and suateed broccoli. All tasted delicious.

G can never go to a restaurant and NOT have any Tea. Here's there jasmine tea served in an almost Alice in Wonderland type tea-pot, cute!

I'm in love with Chai tea, but an Italian 'cafe' only had an Iced Mocha, it was ok, far too strong for me, but I could never say to no to a cute bear face like that!

Princi don't take bookings, just go in, beat the crowd to get served at the food-bar and hope to the food gods you'll be able to find a table.

135 Wardour Street, W1F 0UT. Check out their menu at www.princi.co.uk
